Simon Uzcilas

Simon has over twelve years of private equity experience covering the sectors of venture, expansion, buyouts and institutional investing.

Throughout his career Simon has completed many equity and debt financings across a range of industries and sectors including internet, new media, software, transport, manufacturing, infrastructure and industrial services.

As a private equity investor, Simon has been on the board or as an observer on over ten portfolio companies. Simon has played a detailed hands-on role with several Four Hats portfolio companies to assist in building value. His successful investments include Catapult Genetics which was sold to Pfizer and PermissionCorp which is now a leading
online permission marketing company.

Simon held previous roles at St George Bank, BT Alex Brown (now Deutsche Bank) and ING Barings (now ABN AMRO).
